We’re celebrating World Tourism Week in Chandigarh this September and our college is involved in organizing it. So, being student body president, my days of constant headaches have started!
im working on my monotones. This is outside Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. Yes, an article about Nepal is due.
Yes, it’s portrait season! The rains make the flowers bloom, making pictures come alive! And of course being surrounded by pretty people to click helps! 😀
The ‘in thing’ here is portraits these days. So I thought i’d try too. With the ‘who gets most likes on their pictures’ race on Facebook, my sister liked this decision. She likes to pose, i like to click, we’re balanced.
It’s the season of amaltas here! 😀
(Cassia fistula, for the non hindi speaking people.)
The newspapers say that the monsoon will hit Chandigarh in a day or two. Then what else are these incessant, power-cut causing, road blocking showers happening since a week called?
‘The hills are alive,
With the sound of music’ 😀
I may seem like an Himachal Pradesh promoter here, but believe me, it is worth promoting! Tourists normally are satisfied with Mcleodganj or Shimla, but there are many other places worth visiting if you have the time and spirit! This is Karsog, a valley 4 hours from Shimla (if your bus driver is as slow as ours) or 2 hours (if you trust the daredevils of HRTC)
We’d gone to study the local Kath-Kuni architecture. So it was hike-study-click during the day and criticize cricket while my classmates watched IPL in the evening.
